ANA-MARIA BAMBERGER is an award winning international playwright based in Paris and Hamburg, working in English, French, German and Romanian.
Her critically acclaimed plays include: Belvedere, Talking to You, Martha & Marina, Three O’Clock, The Portrait of Donna T. and The Stone, among others. They have been performed in theatres and at festivals worldwide, as well as on television and radio, and have been published as books.
A native of Bucharest, Romania, Ana-Maria studied medicine and worked in medical research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland (United States) and at the University Medical Center Hamburg, Germany. She is Artistic Director of Magus Theatre Productions, an international theatre producing company, and was Visiting Dramatist and Assistant Professor at the Paris School of Arts and Culture, the Paris campus of Kent University.
