Ana-Maria Bamberger

Ana-Maria Bamberger is a multi-award winning, internationally bestselling theatre author based in Paris and Hamburg.

International sell-out and critically highly acclaimed hits, her plays have been successful on prestigious theatre stages in 16 countries, with runs up to 10 years - as well as on TV and on air, receiving numerous invitations to international theatre festivals and awards.

Ana-Maria Bamberger is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Magus Theatre Productions.

Born in Bucharest, Ana-Maria studied Medicine, worked at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, US, and the University Medical Center Hamburg, Germany, and first became known for her publications in medical research.

Theatre studies include courses at the University of Hamburg (directing), BBC & Royal Court Theatre, London (Playwriting Masterclass).

Ana-Maria lives in Paris and Hamburg with her husband, Christoph and her daughter, Alexandra.
